1

Sign up at paidsync.ai/signup

Takes 10 seconds. Google or email sign-in. Free plan is 15 tasks per month at $0.

2

Connect your Microsoft Ads account via OAuth

In your PaidSync dashboard, click Connect Microsoft Ads. Sign in with the Microsoft account that has access to your Microsoft Advertising customer. If you manage several customers, choose the parent customer so Copilot can see every account beneath it. Your credentials are never stored by PaidSync.

3

Copy your PaidSync API key

From the dashboard, copy your API key. It starts with ps_ and is unique to your account.

4

Add PaidSync to Microsoft Copilot via VS Code

Open VS Code. Press Cmd+Shift+P (or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows) and search for MCP: Add Server. Select HTTP (Server-Sent Events) and paste the endpoint:

https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp?api_key=ps_your_key_here

Name it paidsync and save. Copilot will detect the new server on next reload.

Using M365 Copilot? Add the same URL under Copilot Studio connectors or the M365 admin MCP registry, depending on your tenant configuration.

5

Test the connection

Ask Copilot: "Copilot, show my Microsoft Ads campaign performance"

Copilot responds with live campaign names, spend, and results from your Microsoft Ads account. Connection confirmed.

Free plan includes 15 tasks per month. Pro plans from $99/month for higher daily use.

How do I connect Microsoft Ads to Microsoft Copilot?

Sign up at paidsync.ai, connect Microsoft Ads via Microsoft OAuth, copy your ps_ API key, then add the MCP URL in VS Code under MCP Servers. Full steps are above. Takes 2 minutes.

Which versions of Copilot does PaidSync support?

PaidSync works with Copilot in VS Code, M365 Copilot with MCP connector support, and Copilot in Edge with extension support. The MCP endpoint is https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp with your ps_ API key as the api_key query parameter.

Is PaidSync free to use with Copilot?

Yes. The free plan gives you 15 tasks per month at $0. Pro plans start at $99/month for 600 tasks, up to $199 for 4,000 tasks. Team plans start at $249/month.

Can Copilot make changes to my Microsoft Ads campaigns?

Yes. Copilot can pause ad sets, adjust budgets, update targeting, create new ads, and pull performance breakdowns. Every change is confirmed in the conversation before it executes. Nothing runs without your approval.

Is this the same as Bing Ads?

Yes. Microsoft Advertising was called Bing Ads until 2019. PaidSync connects to the current Microsoft Advertising API, so any account you think of as Bing Ads is managed here with full read and write access.

What Microsoft Ads permissions does PaidSync request?

PaidSync requests ads_management (read and write) and ads_read (analytics). These give Copilot access to campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences, and performance breakdowns. Your Facebook login credentials are never stored by PaidSync.

Does PaidSync also work with Claude and ChatGPT for Microsoft Ads?

Yes. The same ps_ API key connects Microsoft Ads to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. See the related integrations below for engine-specific setup guides.
