Why PaidSync.ai in Claude Code

  • One commandclaude mcp add registers PaidSync.ai for the current project, or add --scope user to make it available in every project.
  • OAuth sign-in through /mcpNo key pasted. An API key also works in a header for headless runs, but on Google Ads it allows reads and dry runs only.
  • You choose which accounts it seesAfter each sign-in you tick the ad accounts for the workspace, so a client account you did not tick stays invisible.
  • Platform guides for Claude CodeGoogle Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager each have a Claude Code guide.

What works in Claude Code and what does not

What works

Command or plugin claude mcp add registers the server, or the plugin installs the same entry plus six ads skills.

Reads and writes Reports, audits, budgets, bids, negatives and campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.

Scope By default it registers for the current project. Add --scope user for every project on the machine.

What does not, or needs checking

Plugin needs a recent version The plugin needs Claude Code 2.1.224 or later. Run claude update first on an older version.

API keys are limited A key works in a header, but on Google Ads it allows reads and dry runs only. Applying a Google Ads change needs the OAuth sign-in.

It asks before each tool Claude Code's own prompt is the human check over MCP, so unattended runs need your own approval setting.

How it works in three steps

These are the commands and the one menu you use.

  1. Run the command

In your terminal run the command below, then run claude mcp list to confirm it is there.

Add --scope user for every project
claude mcp add --transport http paidsync https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp
  2. Sign in with /mcp

Start a Claude Code session, type /mcp, pick paidsync and sign in with your PaidSync.ai login.

    Type in a session
    /mcp
  3. Ask about your ads

Claude Code returns your accounts across every connected platform, and asks before it runs each tool.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Google Ads to Claude Code?

Sign up at paidsync.ai, connect Google Ads via Google OAuth in the dashboard, then run claude mcp add --transport http paidsync https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp in your terminal. Type /mcp inside a session, pick paidsync, and sign in with your PaidSync.ai login.

Does Claude Code need an API key?

No. The OAuth sign-in through /mcp is the primary path. An API key also works in a header, but on Google Ads a key allows reads and dry runs only, so applying a Google Ads change needs the OAuth sign-in. Never put the key in the URL.

Can Claude Code change my campaigns, or only read them?

Both. Claude Code can pause campaigns, change budgets and bids, add negative keywords and create campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Over MCP the human check is Claude Code's own prompt, and PaidSync.ai adds dry-run previews and explicit confirms.

What is in the plugin?

The plugin installs the same PaidSync.ai server entry plus six ads skills: Wasted Spend Hunter, Negative Keyword Triage, Meta Ads Audit, Creative Fatigue Scan, LinkedIn Campaign QA and Tracking Health. It needs Claude Code 2.1.224 or later.

Does it also work in Claude on the web and desktop?

Yes. PaidSync.ai is also in the Claude connector directory, and the same account works there.

How much does PaidSync.ai cost?

The Free plan includes 15 tasks a month with no credit card and no time limit. Pro starts at $99 a month for 600 tasks. Team starts at $249 a month for 5 seats and 6,000 shared tasks.
