Frequently asked questions
What can it fix in my feed?
Your assistant can update products, which inserts a product or replaces the one with the same offer ID, language and feed label, and delete products. It can also create supplemental feeds for price, title or custom label overrides. Each update goes straight back into Google's review.
Does it check changes before they run?
Merchant Center writes apply on the first call and have no dry run, so your assistant's confirmation prompt is the check over MCP. Set your assistant to ask before each tool call. In the PaidSync.ai workspace every change waits as an approval card. Applied changes are logged, and disconnecting Merchant Center from the dashboard deletes its tokens.
Can it link Merchant Center to Google Ads?
It can request the link that Shopping and Performance Max need. A new link only serves once a Google Ads admin approves it inside Google Ads, so your assistant will tell you to finish that step there.
Is there an official Google option?
Google has a hosted Merchant API MCP Access Service, in alpha. Google limits it to read tools and low-risk writes such as creating data sources. PaidSync.ai adds product updates, supplemental feeds and Google Ads links. Both can run side by side, and the Merchant Center MCP page compares them.
Is it free?
