Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Google Ads developer token?

No. You add PaidSync.ai to your assistant, sign in and connect your Google login. There is no API key to copy, no Google developer token, no Google Cloud project and nothing to host.

Does it work with a manager (MCC) account?

Yes. One connection holds several Google logins and works through manager (MCC) accounts, nested ones included. One PaidSync.ai login covers every client account under the manager, and your assistant switches to the account you name for each task. Every plan includes every MCC-linked client account, with no per-account charge.

Which Google Ads campaign types can it create?

Search, Performance Max, Display, Shopping and Demand Gen campaigns. New campaigns and ads start paused or as drafts, and creates show a preview by default before anything touches your account. Google Ads scripts and Ads Editor CSV imports are outside the Google Ads API, so they are outside PaidSync.ai too.

Is it free?

You can start free. The Free plan includes 15 tasks a month with no credit card and no time limit. Paid plans add more tasks and seats, and every plan includes all 14 platforms and every MCC-linked client account. A task is one request from your AI assistant to PaidSync.ai. Which AI assistants does it work with?

Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Perplexity, Copilot Studio, and any other assistant that can connect to an MCP server over Streamable HTTP (MCP is the standard way AI assistants connect to tools). Gemini also works in the Gemini app on a personal Google account, and in Gemini Enterprise when a team admin adds it. Copilot Studio needs a work or school account, and the consumer Copilot app does not accept custom MCP servers. Every assistant has a step-by-step guide in the setup guides.

How is it different from Google's own Google Ads MCP server?

Google publishes a free, open-source Google Ads MCP server that you host yourself. Its README on GitHub, checked on 16 October 2026, lists three tools (a search tool for Google Ads queries, a lookup for resource metadata and a list of the accounts your login can reach) and five setup steps: configure Python, configure a developer token, enable APIs in your Google Cloud project, configure credentials and configure your MCP client. It suits a developer who wants to host the code and read data. PaidSync.ai is the hosted option for people who want their assistant to act on the account.
