To report on ChatGPT Ads with AI, connect your ad account from ads.openai.com to PaidSync.ai, then ask Claude for spend, clicks, CTR, CPC and CPM by campaign, ad group or ad, as a daily series or one total. Add Google Ads and Meta to the same question for one table. In ChatGPT itself, PaidSync.ai's app can report on ChatGPT Ads but is read-only there.
The numbers come from your own account at ads.openai.com. PaidSync.ai reads them with get_openai_performance, and you choose how to cut them: In the terminal? See Connect ChatGPT Ads to Claude Code.
Conversions are not in that list, so pair it with GA4 for the same dates.
| Question | Tool |
|---|---|
| How is the account doing | get_openai_performance at account scope returns the metrics for the dates you ask about |
| What is running | list_openai_campaigns, list_openai_adgroups and list_openai_ads list each level and its ids |
| How is one item doing | get_openai_performance at campaign, ad group or ad scope, with the id from the list |
Two details catch people out. Campaign, ad group and ad scopes need an id, so the assistant lists first and then reads. And a read returns 100 rows unless told otherwise, so ask for more on a long daily series.
PaidSync.ai's app in ChatGPT can report on ChatGPT Ads, so reports work there too. These steps use Claude.
Sign up at ads.openai.com and follow OpenAI's own sign-up and billing steps.
In that ad account's Settings in ChatGPT Ads Manager, create an API key. Enter it on the PaidSync.ai dashboard, not in chat. Each key connects one ad account.
Add PaidSync.ai from Claude's connector directory and sign in. Ask "list my ChatGPT Ads accounts" and choose the one to work in.
Ask Claude for spend, clicks and cost per click by campaign for the last 7 days, and for the ad groups where cost per click is drifting.
Compare the clicks with the sessions GA4 recorded for the same days, so you know the report and your site agree.
Do one pass a week. Read spend and clicks by campaign, find the ad group where cost per click moved, then decide what to look at next. Because the same chat reaches Google Ads and Meta, you can read ChatGPT Ads next to them.
Then compare what ChatGPT Ads reports with what GA4 recorded for the same days. Our guide on how to measure ChatGPT Ads in GA4 and Tag Manager covers the setup.
Everything PaidSync.ai can do on ChatGPT Ads is on the ChatGPT Ads MCP server page. For day-to-day management, see how to manage ChatGPT Ads from Claude.
Connect your ChatGPT Ads account to PaidSync.ai and ask Claude for the numbers you need. It reads impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, CPC and CPM for the account, a campaign, an ad group or an ad.
OpenAI's own ChatGPT Ads manager is at ads.openai.com. PaidSync.ai reads the same account into a chat, so you can ask for a table instead of building a dashboard.
PaidSync.ai's app in ChatGPT can report on ChatGPT Ads but is read-only there. To change campaigns, use Claude or the PaidSync.ai workspace.
The performance read lists impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, CPC and CPM. For conversions, compare it with GA4 for the same days.
