To check daily spend in Google Ads with Claude or ChatGPT, connect your Google Ads account to PaidSync.ai and ask the assistant to show daily spend for a date range, which returns one row per day with the total cost. The report only reads, so you can check it as often as you like.
A daily spend table shows pacing and spikes that a monthly total hides. Claude reads it in one call:
get_spend_by_day returns one row per day with the total cost for a preset or custom date range.get_budget_pacing takes a monthly budget you supply and projects where month-to-date spend will land by the end of the month.get_spend_by_day and get_budget_pacing only read your account.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| get_spend_by_day | Lists cost for each day |
| get_budget_pacing | Projects whether you will hit the monthly budget |
Look for step changes. A sudden jump often follows a budget or bidding edit, and a drop may follow a disapproval or a payment issue. Set the daily figures beside the change history to find the cause.
These steps use Claude to check daily spend. PaidSync.ai also works in ChatGPT, and the prompts are the same.
