To pause an ad group in Google Ads with Claude or ChatGPT, connect your Google Ads account to PaidSync.ai and ask the assistant to pause an ad group, which stops its keywords and ads from serving. The campaign and other ad groups keep running. The change returns as a preview and needs your confirmation.

It runs as a preview and needs your confirmation.enable_ad_group turns a paused ad group back on. | pause_ad_group | Pauses the ad group after you confirm |
| enable_ad_group | Resumes the ad group later |
Ad group status is separate from campaign status. A paused ad group inside an enabled campaign does not serve, and an enabled ad group inside a paused campaign does not serve either, so check both when something stops.
