How to connect TikTok Ads to Gemini with PaidSync

PaidSync joins Gemini as a custom app, or through Gemini CLI, Antigravity or Gemini Enterprise. No API key is needed, because Gemini connects with a PaidSync sign-in (OAuth).

Before you start

Pick your Gemini surface in step 1. The Gemini app takes PaidSync as a custom app on a personal Google Account (18 or older, in the US, in English, with Keep Activity on). Gemini CLI, Antigravity and Gemini Enterprise cover work accounts and terminals.
Signing in with Google? There is no separate sign-up. You pick Continue with Google in step 2, and your free PaidSync account (15 tasks a month, no credit card) is created when you press Approve.
Prefer an email and password? Create the account at paidsync.ai/signup first. The sign-up link inside the sign-in window opens the website and does not bring you back to Gemini.
Know which TikTok for Business login can open your TikTok ad accounts. You use it in step 3.

Add PaidSync to Gemini

Gemini app, personal account. Open gemini.google.com, go to Settings, then Connected Apps (if you do not see it, open Personal Intelligence first), and under Custom apps choose Add a custom app. Paste the PaidSync server URL and click Next. PaidSync registers itself, so there is no API key to copy and nothing to fill in under Advanced features.

Add it on the web once and it works in the Gemini mobile app too. Google limits custom apps to personal Google accounts, age 18 and over, in the US, in English, with Keep Activity turned on. A work or school account cannot add them, so use Gemini Enterprise below instead.

Gemini Enterprise, Business edition. A team admin adds PaidSync under Settings and help, then Manage team, then Connected apps, then Add MCP Server. Sign in to PaidSync and press Approve

The PaidSync sign-in screen opens. Pick Continue with Google, or sign in with your PaidSync email and password. A PaidSync screen then asks whether to allow Gemini to manage your ad accounts via PaidSync. Press Approve and PaidSync is connected.

New to PaidSync and signing in with Google? Your free account (15 tasks a month, no credit card) is created when you press Approve. The screen also mentions ad accounts already connected inside PaidSync. On a new account that list is empty until you finish step 3.

Connect your TikTok Ads account and ask Gemini

In any chat, ask: "Connect my TikTok Ads." Gemini replies with a link that opens TikTok's own sign-in and consent screen. Authorize with your TikTok account, the TikTok for Business login that can open your ad accounts, and tick the advertiser accounts PaidSync may manage. PaidSync never sees your TikTok password.

Come back and ask: "List my TikTok advertisers." Gemini uses list_tiktok_advertisers to show them and set_active_tiktok_advertiser to pick the one you name. Connecting accounts and picking one uses none of your tasks. Then try: "Show me my TikTok campaign performance for the last 7 days." You can also connect TikTok Ads from the PaidSync dashboard instead. Both routes use the same PaidSync login, so Gemini sees the account either way.

Troubleshooting TikTok Ads in Gemini

The sign-in fails. Sign in to PaidSync the way you signed up, with Continue with Google or with your PaidSync email and password. Email users without an account create one at paidsync.ai/signup first, then add PaidSync in Gemini again. If TikTok's own consent screen fails, ask Gemini "Connect my TikTok Ads" again for a fresh link.
Gemini picked the wrong advertiser. Ask Gemini to list your TikTok advertisers and switch to the one you mean, by name or ID. It runs list_tiktok_advertisers, then set_active_tiktok_advertiser, and every TikTok request after that goes to the advertiser you picked. Switching uses none of your tasks.
An advertiser account is not listed. PaidSync lists the advertisers that your TikTok login can open and that you ticked on TikTok's consent screen. Check in TikTok Business Center that your login has access to that ad account, or ask the Business Center admin to give it to you, then ask Gemini to list your advertisers again. Still missing? Gemini says it has no TikTok tool. PaidSync shows Gemini a short starter list of tools to keep the chat light. Ask Gemini to call paidsync_context first. It returns your connected platforms and the full tool list, TikTok included, and Gemini then runs those tools through paidsync_exec.
