To create a Facebook campaign with Claude or ChatGPT, connect your Meta ad account to PaidSync.ai and ask the assistant to create the campaign with the objective, name and budget you give it. The campaign is built paused, after a preview of exactly what will be created, so nothing spends until you switch it on.
A Facebook campaign is the top level of the account. It holds the objective and, if you choose, one shared budget for every ad set under it. PaidSync.ai gives your assistant one tool for the build, and it can also read the list of campaigns you already have:
create_fb_campaign builds the campaign with a name, an objective such as traffic, leads or awareness, and optionally a daily or lifetime budget and a total spend cap.list_fb_campaigns returns every campaign in the active ad account with its status, objective and budget, so you can avoid creating a duplicate. The list reads. Only create_fb_campaign writes to the account.
| Tool | What it needs |
|---|---|
| create_fb_campaign | Changes the account. A name and an objective. Optional: a daily or lifetime budget, a spend cap, special ad categories and the countries you will target. |
Two choices are hard to undo. The objective cannot be changed after the campaign exists, so pick it first. And a budget set on the campaign means Meta shares it across the ad sets, so the ad sets must not carry budgets of their own.
These steps use Claude. PaidSync.ai also works in ChatGPT, so you can create a Facebook campaign there with the same prompts.
Sign up at paidsync.ai, then connect Meta on Meta's own sign-in screen. Have the ad account you want to build in ready, with a payment method already set in Meta.
Add PaidSync.ai from Claude's connector directory and sign in. Ask "list my Facebook ad accounts" and choose the one where you want to create a Facebook campaign.
Tell Claude the goal in plain words, for example leads or website traffic, and whether you want one budget on the campaign or a budget on each ad set.
Claude runs create_fb_campaign as a dry run first and shows the name, objective, budget and status. Check each line against what you meant.
Say yes to run it for real. The campaign appears paused. Add ad sets and ads next, then switch it on when it is ready.
Ask Claude to list your campaigns after the build. The new one should show as paused with the objective and budget you chose. Open Ads Manager once to see the same row.
Every Meta tool PaidSync.ai offers is on the Meta Ads MCP server page. To add ad sets under the new campaign, see how to create a Facebook ad set with AI.
Connect Meta to PaidSync.ai, then ask Claude or ChatGPT to create the campaign with an objective and a budget. It shows a preview first and builds the campaign paused.
Yes. PaidSync.ai connects Meta Ads to ChatGPT and to Claude, and the create_fb_campaign tool is the same in both.
No. It is created paused unless you ask for it live, so it spends only after you switch it on.
No. Meta does not allow it after creation, so create a new campaign with the new objective instead.
