PaidSync connects LinkedIn Ads to Perplexity via MCP. Perplexity gets read and write access to your campaigns and lead gen forms, and reads lead counts by audience segment. PaidSync builds and runs LinkedIn campaigns from chat. It creates campaign groups, campaigns and Sponsored Content ads as drafts by default, so nothing spends until you turn it on, and 34 LinkedIn tools cover reporting and changes.
Setup time: 2 minutes. Free plan available. No credit card required.
In Perplexity open Plugins in the sidebar (or Customize, then Connectors), choose Add custom, then Connector, then Add MCP connector, and select Remote. Name it PaidSync and paste the server URL:
https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcpSet authentication to OAuth 2.0 and transport to Streamable HTTP. PaidSync supports dynamic client registration, so the Client ID and Client Secret fields stay empty. Tick the acknowledgement, click Add, then click the PaidSync connector card and sign in with your PaidSync login. A custom connector needs a Perplexity plan that includes them, and on an Enterprise organization an admin must allow members to add custom connectors first.
In your PaidSync dashboard, click Connect LinkedIn Ads. Sign in with the LinkedIn account that manages your Campaign Manager. PaidSync requests r_ads, r_ads_reporting and rw_ads permissions, plus the profile and organization permissions listed in the FAQ below. Your credentials are never stored by PaidSync.
From the dashboard, copy your API key. It starts with ps_ and is unique to your account.
Perplexity app, personal account. Open gemini.google.com, go to Settings, then Connected Apps (if you do not see it, open Personal Intelligence first), and under Custom apps choose Add a custom app. Paste the PaidSync server URL and click Next. PaidSync registers itself, so there is no API key to copy and nothing to fill in under Advanced features.
https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcpAdd it on the web once and it works in the Perplexity mobile app too. Google limits custom apps to personal Google accounts, age 18 and over, in the US, in English, with Keep Activity turned on. A work or school account cannot add them, so use Perplexity Enterprise below instead.
Perplexity CLI. Run the command, then type /mcp auth paidsync and sign in with your PaidSync login. Google replaced Perplexity CLI with Antigravity CLI for unpaid-tier and Google One users on 18 June 2026, so those accounts use Antigravity below.
gemini mcp add --transport http paidsync https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcpGemini Code Assist agent mode in VS Code reads the same settings file as Perplexity CLI. Add this to ~/.gemini/settings.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"paidsync": { "httpUrl": "https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp" }
}
}Antigravity uses a different key. Open the agent panel menu, choose MCP Servers, then Manage MCP Servers and View raw config, or edit ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, and add the server with serverUrl. Antigravity signs in by dynamic client registration on its own:
{
"mcpServers": {
"paidsync": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp" }
}
}Perplexity Enterprise, Business edition. A team admin adds PaidSync under Settings and help, then Manage team, then Connected apps, then Add MCP Server. PaidSync serves the Streamable HTTP transport Perplexity requires and OAuth 2.0 at https://api.paidsync.ai/authorize and https://api.paidsync.ai/token. Email support@paidsync.ai for the client credentials that form asks for.
