Is there an official Reddit Ads MCP server?

How to connect Reddit Ads to ChatGPT with PaidSync

This is the route through ChatGPT's Plugins directory. No API key is needed, because ChatGPT connects with a PaidSync sign-in (OAuth).

Before you start

PaidSync's listing is the PaidSync app in ChatGPT's Plugins directory. Check that the developer is Advanced Technology Labs LLC, the company that operates PaidSync. OpenAI says availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, region and workspace.
Signing in with Google? There is no separate sign-up. You pick Continue with Google in step 2, and your free PaidSync account (15 tasks, no credit card) is created when you press Approve.
Prefer an email and password? Create the account at paidsync.ai/signup before you start. Email sign-up happens on the PaidSync website, not in ChatGPT.
Know which Reddit login can open your Reddit ad accounts. You use it in step 3.

Add PaidSync to ChatGPT from the directory

In ChatGPT open Plugins, search PaidSync, and click Install plugin.

If your workspace does not show the directory, turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT settings and add a remote MCP server with the URL instead:

Choose OAuth when adding it that way, and sign in with your PaidSync login on first use.

Sign in to PaidSync and press Approve

The PaidSync sign-in screen opens. Pick Continue with Google, or sign in with your PaidSync email and password. A PaidSync screen then asks whether to allow access to your ad accounts via PaidSync. Press Approve and PaidSync is ready in ChatGPT.

Connect your Reddit Ads account and ask ChatGPT

In a chat, ask: "Connect my Reddit Ads." ChatGPT replies with a link that opens Reddit's own sign-in and consent screen. Sign in with the Reddit login that can open your ad accounts and allow access. PaidSync never sees your Reddit password.

Come back and ask: "List my Reddit ad accounts." ChatGPT uses list_reddit_accounts to show them and set_active_reddit_account to pick the one you name. Connecting, listing and picking an account uses none of your tasks. Then try: "Show my Reddit campaign performance for the last 7 days." You can also connect Reddit Ads from the PaidSync workspace instead. Both routes use the same PaidSync login, so ChatGPT sees the account either way.

What PaidSync can and cannot do on Reddit Ads

PaidSync can

Report on performance. get_reddit_performance returns impressions, clicks, spend, key conversions and purchase conversions at account, campaign, ad group or ad level, in the ad account's own currency.
List what runs. list_reddit_campaigns, list_reddit_adgroups and list_reddit_ads show the campaigns, ad groups and ads on the account.
Pause and enable campaigns. pause_reddit_campaign and enable_reddit_campaign.
Change budgets. update_reddit_campaign_budget sets the daily budget of a campaign that uses campaign budget optimization. Other daily budgets sit on the ad group and change with update_reddit_adgroup.
Change settings. update_reddit_adgroup changes an ad group's status, daily budget, bid or name, and update_reddit_campaign changes a campaign's status or name.

PaidSync cannot

No new campaigns, ad groups or ads. Build them in Reddit Ads Manager, then manage them from ChatGPT.
Upload creative or edit targeting. Creative, subreddits, interests and audiences are set in Reddit Ads Manager.
Delete or archive. PaidSync has no Reddit delete or archive tool.

Reddit Ads prompts to try in ChatGPT

Troubleshooting Reddit Ads in ChatGPT

The sign-in fails. Sign in to PaidSync the way you signed up, with Continue with Google or with your PaidSync email and password. Email users without an account create one at paidsync.ai/signup, then sign in again from the PaidSync app in ChatGPT. If Reddit's own consent screen fails, ask ChatGPT "Connect my Reddit Ads" again for a fresh link.
ChatGPT picked the wrong ad account. Ask ChatGPT to list your Reddit ad accounts and switch to the one you mean, by name or ID. It runs list_reddit_accounts, then set_active_reddit_account, and every Reddit request after that goes to the account you picked. Switching uses none of your tasks.
An ad account is not listed. PaidSync lists the ad accounts that your connected Reddit login can open. Check in Reddit Ads Manager that your login has access to that ad account, or ask the account admin to add you, then ask ChatGPT to list your ad accounts again. Still missing? A campaign budget change is refused. update_reddit_campaign_budget works on campaigns that use campaign budget optimization. On other campaigns the daily budget sits on the ad group, so ask ChatGPT to change it there with update_reddit_adgroup.
ChatGPT says it has no Reddit tool. PaidSync shows ChatGPT a short starter list of tools to keep the chat light. Ask ChatGPT to call paidsync_context. It returns your connected platforms and the full tool list, Reddit included, and ChatGPT then runs those tools through paidsync_exec. If ChatGPT does not use PaidSync at all, check that the PaidSync app is installed under Plugins.
