Snapchat Ads ChatGPT

To connect Snapchat Ads to ChatGPT, add the PaidSync app in ChatGPT (open Plugins, search PaidSync, click Install plugin), sign in with OAuth, and ask ChatGPT to connect your Snapchat Ads account. PaidSync is the pick because it acts as well as reads. Its 15 Snapchat Ads tools report on your campaigns and pause, enable and change budgets and settings on existing campaigns and ad squads, while Snap's own Snapchat Ads MCP Server is read-only in its current release (checked 30 Sep 2026). PaidSync does not create new Snapchat campaigns.

Setup time: 2 minutes. Free for 15 tasks, no credit card required. One endpoint, https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp, carries 610+ tools across 14 platforms.

How to connect Snapchat Ads to ChatGPT with PaidSync

This is the route through ChatGPT's Plugins directory. No API key is needed, because ChatGPT connects with a PaidSync sign-in (OAuth).

Before you start

  • PaidSync's listing is the PaidSync app in ChatGPT's Plugins directory. Check that the developer is Advanced Technology Labs LLC, the company that operates PaidSync. OpenAI says availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, region and workspace.
  • Signing in with Google? There is no separate sign-up. You pick Continue with Google in step 2, and your free PaidSync account (15 tasks, no credit card) is created when you press Approve.
  • Prefer an email and password? Create the account at paidsync.ai/signup beforehand. Email sign-up happens on the PaidSync website, not in ChatGPT.
  • Know which Snapchat login can open your ad accounts at business.snapchat.com. You use it in step 3.
1

Add PaidSync to ChatGPT from the directory

In ChatGPT open Plugins, search PaidSync, and click Install plugin.

Sign in with your PaidSync login when prompted. That OAuth sign-in is what lets ChatGPT apply changes.

If your workspace does not show the directory, turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT settings and add a remote MCP server with the URL instead:

https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp

Choose OAuth when adding it that way, and sign in with your PaidSync login on first use.

2

Sign in to PaidSync and press Approve

The PaidSync sign-in screen opens. Pick Continue with Google, or sign in with your PaidSync email and password. A PaidSync screen then asks whether to allow access to your ad accounts via PaidSync. Press Approve and PaidSync is ready in ChatGPT.

New to PaidSync and signing in with Google? Your free account (15 tasks, no credit card) is created when you press Approve.

3

Connect your Snapchat Ads account and ask ChatGPT

In a chat, ask: "Connect my Snapchat Ads." ChatGPT replies with a link that opens Snapchat's own sign-in and consent screen. Log in with the Snapchat account that can open your ad accounts at business.snapchat.com, and allow access. PaidSync never sees your Snapchat password.

Come back and ask: "List my Snapchat ad accounts." ChatGPT uses list_snapchat_accounts to show every ad account your login can open, across organizations, and set_active_snapchat_account to pick the one you name. Connecting accounts and picking one uses none of your tasks. Then try: "Show me my Snapchat campaigns and their status." You can also connect Snapchat Ads from the PaidSync workspace instead. Both routes use the same PaidSync login, so ChatGPT sees the account either way.

Free plan includes 15 tasks, no credit card. Pro plans from $99 a month.

What PaidSync can and cannot do on Snapchat Ads

PaidSync has 15 Snapchat Ads tools. They cover sign-in and account picking, reading, and managing campaigns that already run.

What PaidSync can do

  • Read your accounts. Organizations, ad accounts, campaigns, ad squads and ads, across every Snapchat login you connect.
  • Report on campaigns. Impressions, swipes, spend, video views and purchases for a campaign, as a total, by day or by hour, for the dates you pick.
  • Pause and enable campaigns. Each one reverses the other.
  • Change campaign budgets and settings. Daily budget or lifetime spend cap, name, status, start date and end date.
  • Change ad squads. Status, bid, daily or lifetime budget and name.

What PaidSync cannot do

  • Create anything new. New campaigns, ad squads and ads are built in Snapchat Ads Manager.
  • Handle creative. No image or video uploads and no creative edits.
  • Change targeting. Audiences and targeting stay in Snapchat Ads Manager.
  • Report below campaign level. Performance comes per campaign, not per ad squad or ad.

Budget, bid and setting changes preview as a dry run by default, and PaidSync reads each change back from Snapchat after it applies. In the PaidSync workspace, by default, every change is an approval card.

Snapchat Ads prompts to try in ChatGPT

Each prompt runs on the PaidSync tools named after it and uses one or more of your tasks. Budget, bid and setting changes preview as a dry run by default.

  1. "Which of my Snapchat campaigns are active, and what objective does each one have?" Runs list_snapchat_campaigns, which returns each campaign's ID, name, status and objective.
  2. "Pull lifetime spend, impressions, swipes, video views and purchases for my Holiday campaign." Runs get_snapchat_performance, which returns a lifetime total unless you name dates.
  3. "Turn the paused Back to School campaign back on." Runs enable_snapchat_campaign. pause_snapchat_campaign reverses it.
  4. "Preview cutting the daily budget on the Awareness campaign to 40 in my account currency." Runs update_snapchat_campaign_budget, which previews by default.
  5. "Preview renaming the Lookalike ad squad to Lookalike Q4 and setting its daily budget to 25." Runs list_snapchat_adsquads to find it, then update_snapchat_adsquad, which previews by default.

Why use PaidSync for Snapchat Ads in ChatGPT

It changes what already runs. Snap's own Snapchat Ads MCP Server is read-only in its current release, and Snap says write access is planned for a future release (checked 30 Sep 2026). PaidSync's 15 Snapchat tools already pause and enable campaigns and change budgets, bids and settings on existing campaigns and ad squads.

Every change is checked. Update tools preview by default. After a change applies, PaidSync reads the campaign or ad squad back from Snapchat and reports any campaign budget, status, name or ad squad bid that did not land.

One connection, 14 platforms. Snapchat rarely runs alone. The same PaidSync sign-in covers 610+ tools across 14 platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn, so ChatGPT can put Snapchat next to Meta or TikTok in one chat.

Snap's own sign-in. PaidSync connects through Snap's OAuth screen with the Marketing API scope, so it never sees your Snapchat password. PaidSync is a Google Partner, Meta verified and a TikTok Marketing Partner.

Other ways to connect Snapchat Ads to ChatGPT

Each line below comes from the provider's own page, checked on 30 Sep 2026.

  • Snap's official MCP server. Snap's Snapchat Ads MCP Server, launched on 3 August 2026, connects ChatGPT to Snapchat Ads data and is read-only in its current release (checked 30 Sep 2026).
  • Zapier. Zapier's Snapchat Conversions app sends conversion events and leads to Snap, and its Snapchat Lead Generation app triggers on new leads (checked 30 Sep 2026).
  • n8n. n8n's HTTP Request node queries any app or service with a REST API, with a generic OAuth2 credential among its sign-in options (checked 30 Sep 2026).
  • Build your own. Snap's Marketing API docs say an Organization Admin sets up the OAuth app in Snap's business dashboard and access tokens last 60 minutes, so a self-built server handles token refresh and hosting (checked 30 Sep 2026).

Troubleshooting Snapchat Ads in ChatGPT

  • The sign-in fails. Sign in to PaidSync the way you signed up, with Continue with Google or with your PaidSync email and password. Email users without an account create one at paidsync.ai/signup, then sign in again from the PaidSync app in ChatGPT. If Snapchat's own consent screen fails, ask ChatGPT "Connect my Snapchat Ads" again for a fresh link.
  • ChatGPT picked the wrong ad account. Ask ChatGPT to list your Snapchat ad accounts and switch to the one you mean, by name or ID. It runs list_snapchat_accounts, then set_active_snapchat_account, and every Snapchat request after that goes to the account you picked. Switching uses none of your tasks.
  • An ad account is not listed. PaidSync lists the ad accounts in every organization your Snapchat login can open. Check at business.snapchat.com that your login has access to that ad account, or ask an Organization Admin to add you, then ask ChatGPT to list your ad accounts again. Still missing? Email support@paidsync.ai.
  • ChatGPT says it has no Snapchat tool. PaidSync shows ChatGPT a short starter list of tools to keep the chat light. Ask ChatGPT to call paidsync_context. It returns your connected platforms and the full tool list, Snapchat included, and ChatGPT then runs those tools through paidsync_exec. If ChatGPT does not use PaidSync at all, check that the PaidSync app is installed under Plugins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect Snapchat Ads to ChatGPT?

Add the PaidSync app in ChatGPT: open Plugins, search PaidSync, click Install plugin and sign in with your PaidSync login. Press Approve, then ask ChatGPT to connect your Snapchat Ads and sign in on Snapchat's own page. No API key is needed. Full steps are above.

What Snapchat Ads data can ChatGPT see through PaidSync?

Your organizations, ad accounts, campaigns, ad squads and ads, plus campaign performance: impressions, swipes, spend, video views and purchases, as a total, by day or by hour. Performance is reported per campaign, not per ad squad or ad.

Can ChatGPT pause campaigns and change budgets on Snapchat?

Yes, on campaigns that already run. Through PaidSync, ChatGPT can pause and enable campaigns, change a campaign's daily budget or lifetime spend cap, and change an ad squad's status, bid, budget and name. Budget, bid and setting changes preview as a dry run by default.

Does PaidSync create new Snapchat campaigns?

No. PaidSync does not create campaigns, ad squads or ads on Snapchat, and it does not upload creative. Build new campaigns in Snapchat Ads Manager, then manage and report on them from ChatGPT.

Is there an official Snapchat Ads MCP server?

Yes. Snap launched the Snapchat Ads MCP Server on 3 August 2026. Its current release is read-only, and Snap says write access is planned for a future release (checked 30 Sep 2026). PaidSync's 15 Snapchat tools read and also change existing campaigns and ad squads.

How much does PaidSync cost for Snapchat Ads?

Free for 15 tasks with no credit card. Pro is from $99 a month for 600 tasks, Team is from $249 a month for 5 seats and 6,000 tasks, and Done For You is custom.
