To generate ad images in Google Ads with Claude or ChatGPT, connect your Google Ads account to PaidSync.ai and ask the assistant to generate an image for an ad, which returns the image and a public link you can turn into an asset. The image generator uses Gemini and offers five aspect ratios. Creating the Google Ads asset is a separate, previewed step.
Display and Demand Gen ads need images in specific shapes. Claude can generate one and then register it in Google Ads:
generate_image generates an image from a text prompt with Gemini, in a 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 or 3:4 ratio, and returns a public hosted link.create_image_asset creates a Google Ads image asset from an image URL, which Google downloads.generate_image and create_image_asset change it.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| generate_image | Makes the image from your prompt |
| create_image_asset | Turns the link into an asset |
Generated images are drafts. Check each for text errors, odd details and brand fit before you use it, and make sure it follows Google's image policies. Use 16:9 for landscape and 1:1 for square ad slots.
These steps use Claude to generate ad images. PaidSync.ai also works in ChatGPT, and the prompts are the same.
Create a free account at paidsync.ai and approve Google Ads on Google's own sign-in screen. You do not need a developer token or a Google Cloud project, only a login with access to the account where you will generate ad images.
Open Claude's connector directory, add PaidSync.ai and sign in. Ask "list my Google Ads accounts", then pick the account where you will generate ad images.
Describe the scene, product and style, and choose the aspect ratio that matches the ad slot.
Ask the assistant to generate it and look it over. Regenerate with a changed prompt until it is right.
Ask it to create an image asset from the link. Approve the preview, and use the asset in your ad.
List the account assets and check the image appears. After the ad runs, compare its results against your existing creative.
