Claude Duet, OpenAI Dots and Meta Muse are three proactive AI agents that launched within six weeks of each other in 2026. Each works on its own cloud computer while you're away and checks with you before sensitive actions, and each should be able to reach Google Ads, Meta Ads and 12 more platforms through PaidSync. Pick by the assistant you already pay for and where you live. Duet is for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, dots are for ChatGPT Pro outside Europe and for Business Premium, and Muse is for the US and Canada. Muse is the only one of the three we've tested PaidSync inside so far.

Duet is Anthropic's proactive agent, in its own app separate from the Claude you chat with. Anthropic says it uses the memory, skills and connectors in your Claude account, checks your connected apps every few hours, sends a short brief each morning and messages you when something needs a decision. It asks before it sends, pays, signs or deletes anything. For ads, that's a morning read on spend and pacing, and an alert the day tracking breaks. Full steps are in How to Use Claude Duet for Paid Ads, Tracking and Marketing.
Dots are always-on agents inside ChatGPT, each with its own cloud computer. OpenAI says they use the plugins you've connected in ChatGPT, and that background research runs on read-only tools. For actions, you choose per action whether a dot goes ahead, needs pre-approval, asks first or hands off to you. PaidSync is a published ChatGPT plugin, so there's nothing new to install. Full steps are in How to Use OpenAI Dots With Google Ads and Meta Ads.
Muse is Meta's personal agent, and the only one of the three with ads built in. Meta says Muse for Small Business connects Meta ad accounts in a few clicks, looks at what's working and drafts campaigns, and nothing publishes or spends without your approval. Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok and the rest come in through a custom connector with the PaidSync address. We ran that inside Muse on 1 October 2026, and sign-in, reports and a previewed change all worked. Full steps are in How to Connect Google Ads, LinkedIn and TikTok to Meta Muse.
None of the three is an emergency stop. Duet checks every few hours, and Anthropic says it can miss what arrives between check-ins. A dot's background work is read-only, which is safe but means every fix waits for you. Muse's built-in ads support covers Meta only.
All three are weeks old. Anthropic says plainly that Duet's judgment about when to message you is still being tuned, and the lists of apps each agent supports are still settling. Keep approval on for anything that spends money.
PaidSync is one account and one sign-in in every agent. It covers Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Ads, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest, X, ChatGPT Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and Merchant Center, with 630+ tools.
Its checks travel with it. Campaign creates and budget edits start as a preview, pauses and deletes need an explicit confirm, new campaigns start paused, and applied changes are logged, on a best-effort basis, with a 7-day before-and-after result. Where an agent checks only every few hours, PaidSync's own agents run in the PaidSync workspace on schedules from hourly to monthly.
Setup pages for each: PaidSync for Claude Duet, PaidSync for ChatGPT and PaidSync for Meta Muse.
All three are proactive agents that work on their own cloud computer and check with you before sensitive actions. Duet lives in its own Claude app and briefs you each morning. Dots live inside ChatGPT and run read-only research in the background. Muse is Meta's personal agent, with Meta ads built in and WhatsApp access.
None of the three has Google Ads built in. Each should reach it through PaidSync: Duet through the PaidSync connector in your Claude account, dots through the PaidSync ChatGPT plugin, and Muse through a custom connector. Muse is the one we've tested so far.
Not as an individual yet. Duet is a US waitlist, dots on ChatGPT Pro exclude the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and Muse is in the US and Canada. OpenAI lists Business Premium in all supported regions. PaidSync works in regular Claude and ChatGPT chats everywhere meanwhile.
Each asks before sensitive actions, but each defines that differently. Tell the agent to ask before any budget, bid or status change. PaidSync adds previews for creates and budget edits, a confirm for pauses and deletes, and paused new campaigns.
Inside Muse, yes, on 1 October 2026. Not yet inside Duet or a dot. PaidSync works in regular Claude and ChatGPT chats, which Duet and dots build on.
No. Every agent uses the same PaidSync account, and your tasks are shared across them.
Anthropic says Duet is included in Claude Pro and Max during the preview. OpenAI says your first dot is included in Pro or Business Premium. Meta offers Muse free with a usage limit, plus paid plans for heavier use. PaidSync is free for 15 tasks a month with no credit card, then plans start at $99 a month.
PaidSync runs 630+ tools across 14 ad and analytics platforms. Connect your accounts once and use them in whichever agent you pick.
