Before you start
- Pick your Gemini surface in step 1. The Gemini app takes PaidSync as a custom app on a personal Google Account (18 or older, in the US, in English, with Keep Activity on). Gemini CLI, Antigravity and Gemini Enterprise cover work accounts and terminals.
- Signing in with Google? There is no separate sign-up. You pick Continue with Google in step 2, and your free PaidSync account (15 tasks, no credit card) is created when you press Approve.
- Prefer an email and password? Create the account at paidsync.ai/signup before you start. The sign-up link inside the sign-in window opens the website and does not bring you back to Gemini.
- Know which Reddit login can open your Reddit ad accounts. You use it in step 3.
Add PaidSync to Gemini
Gemini app, personal account. Open gemini.google.com, go to Settings, then Connected Apps (if you do not see it, open Personal Intelligence first), and under Custom apps choose Add a custom app. Paste the PaidSync server URL and click Next. PaidSync registers itself, so there is no API key to copy and nothing to fill in under Advanced features.

Sign in to PaidSync and press Approve
The PaidSync sign-in screen opens. Pick Continue with Google, or sign in with your PaidSync email and password. A PaidSync screen then asks whether to allow Gemini to manage your ad accounts via PaidSync. Press Approve and PaidSync is connected.
New to PaidSync and signing in with Google? Your free account (15 tasks, no credit card) is created when you press Approve. The screen also mentions ad accounts already connected inside PaidSync. On a new account that list stays empty until you finish step 3.
Connect your Reddit Ads account and ask Gemini
In any chat, ask: "Connect my Reddit Ads." Gemini replies with a link that opens Reddit's own sign-in and consent screen. Sign in with the Reddit login that can open your ad accounts and allow access. PaidSync never sees your Reddit password.
Come back and ask: "List my Reddit ad accounts." Gemini uses list_reddit_accounts to show them and set_active_reddit_account to pick the one you name. Connecting, listing and picking an account uses none of your tasks. Then try: "Show my Reddit campaign performance for the last 7 days." You can also connect Reddit Ads from the PaidSync workspace instead. Both routes use the same PaidSync login, so Gemini sees the account either way.

Troubleshooting Reddit Ads in Gemini
- The sign-in fails. Sign in to PaidSync the way you signed up, with Continue with Google or with your PaidSync email and password. Email users without an account create one at paidsync.ai/signup, then add PaidSync in Gemini again. If Reddit's own consent screen fails, ask Gemini "Connect my Reddit Ads" again for a fresh link.
- Gemini picked the wrong ad account. Ask Gemini to list your Reddit ad accounts and switch to the one you mean, by name or ID. It runs
list_reddit_accounts, thenset_active_reddit_account, and every Reddit request after that goes to the account you picked. Switching uses none of your tasks. - An ad account is not listed. PaidSync lists the ad accounts that your connected Reddit login can open. Check in Reddit Ads Manager that your login has access to that ad account, or ask the account admin to add you, then ask Gemini to list your ad accounts again. Still missing? - A campaign budget change is refused.
